Momentum Summit 2024 wrap up
Another Momentum Summit is in the books, but this time it boasted a bit of a facelift.
Typically an event for Golds and above, the summit has been a live leadership event providing deeper leadership training with a focus on the 7k mission and vision. But “this year we decided to do it a little differently. We wanted to give people an opportunity to not spend money to come to an event—they could stay home and stay focused, and we thought we could pack as much punch doing it virtually,” chief sales and marketing officer Blake Davis said.
The two-day summit was held online with ticket holders joining meetings via special password. Oct. 25 was an invitation-only leadership session, and Oct. 26 was open to all associates, where they too received training for individual business growth.
During Friday’s session, company founder Zach Davis kicked things off with a definition of culture and why it matters so much in leadership, and a panel discussed how to pique interest and mobilize people through conversation.
According to Blake, the highlight was the Friday leadership event, where he and other summit presenters could “feel how committed members are to the mission and vision of 7k. It was a good reminder that we really are impacting the world and still have a lot of work to do.”
On Saturday, founder Josh Anderson shared the founders’ message, and company leaders presented on why building a 7k business is life changing, how to make systems work, and ways to take 7k to the next level.
Two exclusive coin drops were also a highlight: An American Life – John F. Kennedy 5-oz silver coin and the Eclectic Nature – Chameleon 1-oz silver coin. Sales were high, and coins went fast (but for collectors who couldn’t attend, a small number were reserved and will be released later).
Summit is typically held in the fall, so if you missed out this year, make a plan to attend next year's event!
