Founders Lifestyle Getaway 2024: A Wrap-Up

Our team hasn’t even had a chance to unpack yet from Founders Lifestyle Getaway 2024, held in two sessions at the remote Salmon River Lodge from July 21 – 24 and July 24 – 27 in Salmon, Idaho.  

Fifty 7k members qualified to attend the four-day retreat, which is designed to be just that—a retreat from the strains and pains of everyday living. Attendees worked hard to earn a spot on the trip, but once there, it’s all about relaxation, feeling the heart and intention of 7k, and setting new goals for themselves and their teams.

“Founders Lifestyle is one of our favorite events we do every year. It is three days full of different activities that many of our associates who make it to FLG have never done, in a part of the world most people never dream of visiting. The memories made here are never forgotten!” 7k Metals chief sales and marketing officer Blake Davis said. “Anyone who has attended FLG knows it truly is a priceless experience—this year was no different. If you didn’t make it this year, see you next year!”

The retreat always includes bucket-list activities, and one highlight is the 10-mile river-rafting trip. Members braved the Salmon River Class III rapids with a professional guide by their side and paddles in their hands. Other activities included horseback riding, fishing, boat rides, disc golf, cornhole, and—the most on-brand activity—panning for gold.

Of course, these activities were scheduled around gourmet meals and plenty of time for networking with new friends and a lot of R&R. 

The great news is that every year, members have another chance to qualify for FLG. Contest rules will be published in Spring 2025, so plan now to push yourself to earn a spot, and we’ll see you next year in Salmon, Idaho!
