Discover hidden treasures: Beauty of the World features 84 must-have coins from must-see places all over the planet

Does anyone actually believe there are only seven wonders of the world? 

No way. With seven continents, a 24,901-mile circumference, a hundred different climates, and thousands of different ways geology and water converge, the 7k team knew Earth had a lot more to boast than seven measly landmarks. 

Enter the Beauty of the World collection: 84 coins featuring jaw-dropping locations from six continents (Antarctica exempt). The collection was designed to spill the beans about the most amazing places on Earth that have been flying just under the radar. “The idea was to show people places on different continents that you have never heard of but are cool enough that you’ll put them on your itinerary to see when you travel there,” 7k Metals project coordinator Keenan Ariante said.  

The 7k team searched out 14 landmarks for each of the six continents and found that, indeed, Mother Earth has a lot of hidden treasures. Take, for example, the Azores in Portugal, also known as “the Hawaii of Europe” that teems with dolphins and whales, lagoons in dormant volcanoes, and natural hot pools. Or how about Iceland’s Hengifoss Waterfall that tumbles 420 feet to boulders below, cascading past striped strata of rocks in shades of gray and red on its way. And then there’s Ireland’s Giant’s Causeway—40,000 towering basalt columns lined up alongside the sea, perfectly situated to be the stepping stones of giants on a trek towards Scotland. 

It's a lot to take in. What distinguishes the collection is its breadth, Ariante said. “It’s large; it’s interesting—you’re not going to find one that’s boring,” he said. 

The collection launched in January 2024 with Australia’s coins, and South America’s coins hit the 7k website this winter. The coins are dropped en masse—all 14 coins per continent are made available at the same time. Also, every coin is one ounce of silver for consistency across the collection.  

There’s lots to love about Beauty of the World, but one of the best things is ease of entry. “It’s the first collection that encompasses all the world, and one of my favorite things about it is there are subsets in the collection by continent. If buying 84 coins is too scary, you can start with 14,” 7k Metals chief sales and marketing officer Blake Davis said.
