Well, this is newsworthy: Antonio Basuino, CIT head of project development who collaborates with 7k on so many coin projects, is a major award winner.
At the World Coin Fair in Berlin, Germany, earlier this month, Basuino’s design Repubblica Italiana coin secured first place for CIT in the silver-coin category.
“I always wanted to immortalize the shape of Italy – this boot, which I find very stylish – on a coin. Now I had the chance, and with a beautiful technique, I tried to bring out the very best,” he said in a post-coin-fair interview.
