2024 hits
It’s the end of 2024, and we’re reflecting on what coins were tops this year. These are some of the biggest 7k hits you added to your stacks:
Hot bullion
Some of the hot bullion this year might be what you would expect with the silver eagle taking the cake for most popular and silver buffaloes and maple leafs not far behind. But what we didn’t anticipate is how hot some of the new, fun AI-generated-imagery bullion would be! The Donald Trump array of AI-generated rounds are a fan favorite, for example. Keep an eye out for more of these kinds of rounds with different themes in 2025!
Marvels of nature and beyond
We were pleasantly surprised with how well our more obscure coins caught on. For example, the Solar System collection was wildly successful. Less surprising, the Holdman – We All Live Glass Egg knocked it out of the park, surpassing its predecessor, the Bee Glass Egg. We love having a wide variety of people on our team with a host of interests and backgrounds. It always makes coin sales interesting!
Presidential pride
We were less surprised by how much you love our presidential coin collections. Maybe it was because 2024 was an election year or maybe because the American Life Series has been such a hit from the beginning, but we sold out of several coins in the Life of Roosevelt and Life of Lincoln collections. However, the JFK series ended up being the favorite by far, with the JFK 5 ouncer being the most-sought-after coin of the year. We look forward to seeing how these coins become iconic staples in your collections long into the future.
Beautiful coins
We move a LOT of coins that are works of art in their own right, and apparently you love those too. Some favorites in this category include the Eclectic Nature collection, the Zentangle Art – Tiger 2-oz silver coin (sold out), and our Silver Hearts – Brilliant Love Butterfly (the 2024 version completely sold out, but watch for the 2025 in a few months!). The Dot Art Four Seasons collection also caught on fast, with the Spring coin selling out completely. The Winter coin just dropped—hope you got one!
Also, when we ran our Micropuzzle Treasures – Creation of Adam Coin Drop in early November, we only released a portion of our inventory—and they sold out in less than three minutes. The second half of the inventory is now ready, so watch for those in 2025.
2024’s cult following
We saw quite a following surrounding the Circles of Life coin, where a tree’s rings morph into a fingerprint, and the Historical Monuments – Eiffel Tower sold well.
