On a mission in Canada: How three women ranked Silver and what drives them daily
Women are showing up in Canada—not just for themselves, but for their country.
With a commitment to grind even on their worst days, Canadians Laura Riddoch, Jeneen Yungwirth, and Sarah Swain reached the rank of Silver.
“My ‘why’ was self-preservation in the beginning. Now it’s more about what can we do for Canada, what can we do for Canadians, and connecting them with an alternative way of saving that’s meaningful,” Riddoch said.
Working their own businesses from three different provinces, the women are each driven to help their countrymen discover the beauty of stacking precious metals as an alternative to traditional savings strategies. They view themselves as bearers of a hopeful message.
“I see 7K as an answer to people's prayers and a solution that can immediately be applied,” Swain said. “It would actually feel selfish of me not to share this with people.”
For Yungwirth, there’s a lot of satisfaction through the element of education. She and her husband Dan (who runs the business with her) joined 7k two years ago to buy gold and silver but turned it into a business after recognizing the peace of mind precious metals can offer. Now she wants to spread the message about private membership and private vaulting.
“When we do our webinars, I want people to come out and feel like they’ve learned something and found value in their time with us,” Yungwirth said. “If we’ve done our job, I’m hoping when we’ve completed the webinar that we’ve connected the dots enough that the membership just makes sense.”
Yes, there’s power in the message of gold and silver, but Riddoch said the secret to her own team’s success is relationships.
“If the foundation isn’t strong and you haven’t made relationships with the foundational members, it doesn’t survive,” she said. “Sometimes people don’t stay, but if I have the relationship with them, there’s a possibility that we’ll have higher retention on that side. Pick up the phone, ask how they’re doing, be together in person.”
Swain agrees. “We can go further and faster as a team. If we genuinely believe that 7k can positively impact lives in enormous ways, then the fastest way to get it into people's hands is to expand our reach, and we do that through teamwork,” she said.
