7k Metals donates $12,160 to Roots of Humanity following sales of its Charlie Kirk commemorative coin
7k Metals announced today a donation of $12,160 to the Roots of Humanity Foundation following the successful release of its Charlie Kirk commemorative coin. The donation represents a portion of proceeds from sales with $10 from every coin sold pledged directly to support Roots of Humanity’s mission to unite people through public discourse and art.
“Charlie stood for the idea that open dialogue, even among opposing views, strengthens our communities and our nation,” said 7k Metals CEO Blake Davis. “Through this coin and the funds directed to Roots of Humanity, we honor his legacy and support a mission that continues to amplify voices, celebrate unity, and protect our freedoms.”
The 7k team created the commemorative coin to honor Kirk and his courage in championing free expression. On September 10, 2025, that freedom was tragically disrupted when Kirk was killed at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. In his memory, 7k Metals dedicated this special release to the principle he fought for: protecting free speech everywhere, for everyone, regardless of political belief.
Roots of Humanity is a nonprofit foundation dedicated to cultivating peace, connecting people, and celebrating the light in every individual. As an incubator for good, its projects highlight universal values that transcend cultural and political boundaries, encouraging unity and understanding across humanity.
"While we mourn the loss of Charlie's life, we will remember his work as we continue to cultivate peace, connect people and celebrate the light of every individual. We're grateful to 7k Metals for this generous gift and the virtues that connect all of us,” said Roots of Humanity president Max Brown.
